Repaso tecnológico del 2016

Siempre por estas fechas me gusta llevar a cabo una "prospección" (a través de artículos, posts,...) sobre los retos tecnológicos del próximo año.
¿Cuáles seran las tecnologías y los hitos tecnológico de este próximo año 2017?

Lo cierto es que todavía no lo he hecho, pero quería compartir un artículo sobre el 'pasado' (presente) año, 2016.

Me ha llegado a través de una participante de la asignatura de Innovación del Máster en Gestión de la Innovación y el Conocimiento, de la UOC. (Gràcies, Margalida) y me ha parecido muy interesante.

Lleva por título "Los avances tecnológicos más importantes de 2016 que marcarán los próximos años"

Los autores destacan un hito para cada mes:

• Enero: una depuradora de agua que genera energía
• Febrero: una prótesis impresa en 3D para Unai

• Mayo: adiós a las arrugas con esta piel artificial

La Sociedad de la Información en España, 2013

Recién salido del horno, ayer, miércoles, 15 de enero, se presentó el estudio “La Sociedad de la Información en España”, correspondiente al 2013, y elaborado por la Fundación Telefónica.

Ahora bien, como siempre, os recomiendo que consultéis dos recursos audiovisuales (en slideshare y youtube) para tener un resumen del mismo, con los principales datos.

El informe muestra como el móvil se está convirtiendo en el eje central de nuestras comunicaciones digitales, si bien el ordenador sigue siendo el dispositivo elegido para aspectos de productividad. También resume el uso de los múltiples dispositivos por parte de los usuarios para el acceso a Internet (TV, ordenador, teléfono, tableta,…), así como el uso de las redes sociales (RRSS) por parte de las empresas.

Y sólo destacar uno de los titulares del informe y que más impacto está teniendo: “… en media, consultamos nuestro smartphone 150 veces al día…”, lo que me parece una barbaridad.

Tendencias tecnologías IT para este 2013

Hay un ejercicio interesante que me gusta hacer cada año y que consiste en recopilar las tendencias tecnológicas en el ámbito de las TI/SSII para el próximo año.

Siempre lo hago a finales del año actual o a principios del siguiente.

En esta ocasión, la recopilación es un poco más tarde de lo habitual.

También cabe remarcar que es un ejercicio difícil o casi imposible por algunas razones:

• Por una parte, por que depende del punto de vista desde el que se haga este análisis, ya sea como CIO (Director de Sistemas de Información) o CTO (Director de Tecnologías), por ejemplo. En un caso las ‘preocupaciones’ del primer rol están más enfocadas a temas de gestión, valor,…, mientras que en el segundo, su orientación estará más en las tecnologías y aplicaciones
• Por otra parte, estas clasificaciones también dependen mucho del área desde la que se lleve a cabo el análisis en cuanto a aplicación de estas tecnologías. No es lo mismo considerarlo desde la óptica del área de márqueting que de las operaciones, fabricación,…

Dicho esto, y a modo de resumen, las tendencias TIC para este año 2013, serían las siguientes:

3. Cloud Computing
4. Social Media
5. Movilidad
6. El internet de las cosas (The Internet of things)
7. Flexible Working

Estas son las tendencias más repetidas por los diferentes analistas y referentes.

Debo decir que la séptima es fruto de mi propio análisis y experiencia con el entorno (empresas, ….) con las que trabajo habitualmente.

El programa iDigital (Generalitat de Catalunya)

Primera activitat de la comunitat EADA Alumni 'Business & Technology' (BnT) d'aquest any 2013, de l’escola de negocis (www.eada.edu), i de la que formo part, tant per la meva vessant com a professor sènior associat del Dept. d’Operacions i Sistemes d’Informació, com també, en qualitat d’antic alumne de l’escola.

Va ser aquest dijous passat, 24 de gener, i, per a l'ocasió, vam comptar amb la presència del Sr Carles Flamerich, director general de Telecomunicacions i Societat de la Informació de la Generalitat de Catalunya (link), qui, juntament amb el Sr Daniel Marco, Director del Programa iDigital (programa ), ens van presentar el pla estratègic de Desenvolupament de la Societat Digital del Govern, per als propers anys.

L'acte es va organitzar en format d'esmorzar-networking, el que va afavorir la interacció i participació dels diferents assistents al mateix, i va ser introduït i moderat per un servidor.

En paraules del Sr Flamerich, "el programa iDigital pretèn convertir Catalunya en un pol (hub) d'innovació de la societat digital", convertint-se en una de les línies estratègiques de país i basat en les 5 i s: internacionalització, innovació, inversió, inclusió i infraestructures.

Per aconseguir-ho, el programa, tal com ens va detallar el Daniel Marco, "gira al voltant de quatre eixos (empresa, clúster TIC, ciutadania i administració) i es desplega a partir de 17 projectes tractor com ara la 'facturació electrònica', 'l’ecommerce', 'l’eTurisme' o 'les xarxes socials ciutadanes' o 'la eocupabilitat' ".

El programa està alineat amb l'agenda europea digital 2020 (agenda) i persegueix l'objectiu que Catalunya passi del TOP 20 al TOP 10 de les euroregions europees en aquesta àrea, sobre les 269 analitzades.

EADABnT, “El perfil profesional del siglo XXI”

Tercera actividad de la Comunidad ‘Business & Technology’ (#EADABnT) de EADA Alumni, de este año, ayer, en la escuela de negocios.
